Trossachs National Park - New camping bye-laws

With effect the 1st March this year the parks authority introduced new camping bye-laws. You can check these out and their new web site >here<. Instead of banning wild camping like many other short sighted authorities they have introduced a permit control system and now offer spots to legally wild camp both for tent campers and motorhome owners. A good move in my view and as a motorhome owner I especially welcome the overnight parking spots dedicated to motorhomes and hope it will be a model for other national parks and tourist areas to follow.
