After being told we would get an extra year out of our tyres by the engineer I was surprised when we had new tyres fitted to our caravan when I saw "made in China" stamped on them in fact worried until the tyre fitter came out with the old ones which were fitted by Swift 6 years earlier and looked as good as new  and pointed out that they were also "made in China"  and not a crack any where

Interesting that the Michelin and Continental websites recommend changing tyres at 10 years and suggest checking sidewalks for cracking and changing if severe.

That sounds a reasonable time limit for a tyre, especially the heavier duty van tyres.

I will be fitting all weather van tyres when my current ones need a change as the grip of the Continental CP ones fitted by manufacturer is really poor in damp or slippery conditions, really noticeable when on grass at festivals etc.

I use 65psi as checking axle weights against charts this is plenty of pressure. 80psi would give a terrible ride!
