Motorhome seat covers.
Do any of you good folks know where you can get good quality motorhome seat covers from. Ours are the high backed type with integral headrest. Not separate headrest. Need arm rest covers too. Seem to be having problems with blue jeans staining light coloured seats. Your help as always would be much appreciated.

Sorry I can't get help only suggest a local upholsterer. If your travelling seats are being marked I suspect your habitation ones will soon follow?
It amazes me when I see photos and look at newer motorhomes and caravans how many have really light coverings and carpets. Denim is a material most people wear a lot these days, and the leaking of dye from it well known.
It seems not even those who test out the new products and write the reviews fail to mention that the colour scheme are really designed for robust use 😉.

Baby Wipes are your friend. A regular wipe over the seats soon removes the dye.
There are varicous treatments you can apply, scotch guard etc that provide protection.
Our caravan has the light cream leather and Impala fabric that just takes a wet wipe to remove spills, even marker pen.
The tow car has light grey leather seats, at over 4 years and 72k miles you wouldn't know from the seat condition. I wear 'designer' jeans (Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger) a lot that surprisingly bleed dye. A quick wet wipe jobs a good un.
When we had the MH it was reupholstered in a porcelain white leather with orange stiching that everyone said would get marked and stained. Not so, just a quick wet wipe when anything spilled.
Little and often is better than leaving it for a big clean.

Thank you for the info. Our seats are cloth covered. May be a silly question but will baby wipes work on cloth?

We have 2 cream cloth sofas that were scotchgarded or similar from new when purchased and we were told that any claim would exclude denim and thus we never sit on it in jeans without a throw. Baby wipes might work but I'd test first somewhere where it won't show. Hard I know as colour transfer is where it shows 😉. You could always try on back of reverse if seat to see it material stands up to it. Or where legs rub on the down the front? Do let us know how it goes.

Have a look at a company called Titan Covers. They make covers for all sorts of vehicles and they may be able to help you. They aren't cheap but are extremely good quality. I bought a complete fitted boot liner plus additional protector for the back of the front seats and bumper guard, two years ago for my new Touareg and despite chucking everything and anything in it - including the dog - the back of the car still looks brand new.

Thank you for your replies. Will be contacting some of the companies today and will report back on findings. It would still be good to hear if anyone has bought bespoke covers from anywhere.
