Haven Seton Sands

hi folks, has anyone had any experiences of taking their tourer to Seton Sands haven park or even the Haven Craig Tara?

    Used both a couple of years ago, and both were okay, nothing spectacular but okay.

    Craig Tara was much better laid out with individual hard standing pitches and at the time a quite new toilet block which was very good. Unfortunately the park was a fair walk down the hill, which was a bit steep for my parents coming back up.

    Seton Sands was much older and less developed, which may have changed now. It's right next to the facilities and flat.

    As sites they're not as good as typical CC sites, but for kids they're pretty good.

    Use the Haven sites in North Wales regularly ( off season). They have spent a lot on the touring sites. If you have an "Euro pitch" then they are far superior to anything the CC offers. Likewise the toilet blocks are cleaned all day ( not once as CC) and are invariably excellent. Try to ascertain what sort of pitches they have, Off seas

    on you will be surprised at the prices, cheaper than basic Cls in North Wales.
