Thule customer service in the UK
Just spent the best part of a day trying to contact Thule in the UK to check how to order the right bits for a Panorama to fit my Lunar Landstar. Failed completely . Numbers not in Use etc etc . It appears the only option is to call Motorhome accessory retailers , usually on 0800 Numbers, but the ones I have tried know less about Thule stuff than I do . As I know you need adaptor kits and other bits and pieces to meet the needs of a panel van conversion , I am still none the wiser. I do know the attachment height and the omnistor type, length and projection , but if I have to order online and get my bits delivered the last thing I would want is to find I can't erect it because widget X is missing. I am on the point of giving up and going for an inflatable drive away instead
Any one know of a supplier who can help ?

2 years back I bought a Thule awning via Rose.
There was a manufacturing fault that meant it was almost impossible to put up. I had the devil of a job to get Rose and Thule to take it seriously. It was only when I started getting stroppy with them that Thule actually sent someone out to take a look.
To be fair, from that point on there was no quibble, they guy took it away and a replacement was delivered a fortnight later. But whilst I like the Thule designs, their customer service (and Rose's) left something to be desired ...

Ours was fitted by John Rose on a new caravan at Raymond James, Atherstone. They arranged fitment with them before we took delivery of the caravan. All seemed efficient. We had a problem with one of the telescopic legs where the plastic flip device that kept the leg locked in position was loose. I emailed them from France and arranged to take the van down for them to replace it. We had a couple of days at Wareham Forest while we were at it.
No problem at all contacting them and we had good service. I also ordered an extra centre, two side roof bars and storm straps. They actually left them in the van when we collected it. Payment for these accessories was another matter. We had the van and the awning in June, went away to France/Germany and Italy in the new van and eventually paid for the accessories in September when they did the repair. I had to force them to take the payment - they didn't seem at all worried about the fact that I hadn't paid!!
We had good service from them - no problems for us.
