I have Greenflag cover for Roadside and Recovery with Extra Care cost annually £80..On a recent discussion with my car insurance company, I was also asked who my breakdown cover was with and I told the advisor that it was Greenflag via The Caravan Club . All details of the caravan were supplied and specifically said "dual" is included. The customer advisor said their breakdown deal is by Greenflag as they are in the same group and the annual cost would be £57.20 and would be for the same cover as I described to them. Has anyone else come across this massive saving and if you changed did it work out as satisfactory.

    I'd be wary that the two policies are actually the same. I'd  suspect that your car insurance recovery would only recover  both car & caravan if the car broke down unlike MayDay that  will recover both if the caravan was at fault.

    If it sounds too good to be true ....... it probably is wink
