Petrol Tow car

Any suggestions please for a petrol tow car. I tow a Sprite Alpine 2 berth so not a massive weight. Currently using a 2litre TDI Skoda Yeti. Thanks

    A 2L petrol Mondeo makes a good all rounder and if you are looking for S/H there are plenty about.

    Good question flatcoat. Looking to change for a lower mileage and would like another yeti (4x4 possibly). As the more recent two litre I have apparently has a less powerful engine than previously a 4x4 looks essential but few low mileage second hand yetis seem to be available.

    Recent news on Diesels makes me wonder whether a petrol spec. might be an option .However, on balance may just keep the Yeti which I like very much as most alternative diesels look overpriced and no better in terms of spec. for the money. Nor do I wish to go back to a saloon or hatchback which takes out the Mondeo which certainly looks a good tow car.
