Bad water taste

Hello l recently bought a universal fit mains water adaptor kit when i connected it to my aquaroll water carrier the water tastes awfull and un drinkable. Even when going through a water filter, disconnect the adaptor kit and water tastes ok. Has anyone got a answer

    I can't explain it if it is the same water that tastes OK. However if you mean when you fill the aquaroll normally it tastes OK, it could be the composition of the kit. Is the hose food grade. When we first started with service pitches, we tried using normal garden hose and the plastic taint was most noticeable,

    Yes it is a food grade hose and yes if you fill the aqua roll normally it doesn't taste.

    We never drink water from the caravan system.

    At home we use a filter jug for all our water, due to it being undrinkable after standing for a few minutes, but in the van we carry bottled water and then refill from the tap onsite.

    On only one occasion have I had experience of water being tainted. I filled the system using puriclens additive, left overnight and problem disappeared never to return.

    There is no doubt that we need to filter our water at the very least so I hope you sort it. I have just ordered a water distiller after watching this. Take half an hour to watch this- you'll be horrified at the garbage in our water - http://.youtu.be/_7ls4cfazoo or just put 'Distilled Water into the search box on YouTube. - the only water you should ever drink under any condition - enjoy!!!
