Porch Awning Affinity 554

hi all,

info needed please on the purchase of a porch awning for a Elddis Affinity 554. the van height given in the book is 265cm and all the awnings I've looked at only go up to 250. do they make special sized ones or is there another way of making them fit

    The van height in the book will be the overall height,  that means to the top of the aerial on the roof which is much higher than the awning rail which is the height you want.

    On my Compass Omega 482 (based on Elddis Affinity) tech info sheet it gives 3 heights. Overall height 270cm, overall height excluding TV aerial 257cm, porch awning height 243cm.

    I have seen lot,s of Affinity caravans on sites with all makes of awnings and every one looked fine. We have an Elddis Crusader and have used full awnings and know use a Kampa Air without any problems. So my advice is choose an awning and enjoy.smile
