hi all , i have the above caravan but i notice there is no switch that says car,van,mains have just got a new tow car with black and gray sockets and just wondering as there is no switch does it automatically switch to car when i plug gray plug in ?

    Hi Jim, we had a 2005 Elddis Avante and there was no switch. All we had to do was to connect the plugs and the car and van did their thing automatically, as long as the master switch is on. Cheers, Alex.

    Your last caravan automatically switched over when you plugged it in too. All the car/off/caravan switch was for was to select which battery you were drawing power from if you were sat in your caravan at the services etc
