Well I, Brian / A B M went onto BBC red button for the sports news today and found out why t'Alex were without their prize striker at Carlisle on Saturday
.The young man had been sitting on the settee at home playing with his x--box when he slipped and pulled a muscle or something in his thigh and had to declare himself un fit to play.

Just back from the CL match, City v Copenhagen.
Another fantastic sound and light show, pre kick off, and another couple of goals from Haaland.
I’ve been watching football since I was a young kid, and I’ve never seen the likes of him, anywhere.
Beginning with think he’s from a parallel universe, certainly isn’t one of us.

Actually it was a 3 -- 0 stuffing and according to the commentary team on Radio Stoke darned hard work to keep both of the Common Taters and t'engineers from falling asleep !
