Haven't tried it on the laptop yet, since the site went Live, but the next on my phone looks black - unless it is my eyes.   It is perhaps a tad small, but I can manage to read it without my glasses.

Just realised, it has me down as a Caravanner from Staffordshire instead of Warwickshire.  It obviously bases the location on postal a dresses rather than your actual location.

We now have two threads on this subject both growing by the second.

    Can they please be merged!?

PS. The subject is the new website.

PSS. Plus the usual 'How to use the forum'

I may be alone but I'm finding the search and book system for sites and CLs less user friendly than it was which is a real shame.  I really wanted to be able to exclude ASs and AO CLs from searches but still can't.  My real issue is that the filters on the search forms don't actually filter properly.  I realise that only the relevant areas and/or sites become clickable but it makes for an awful lot of scrolling

Could someone tell me where I can find the shiny new FAQ tool?

The irony of this question is not lost on me wink

I've now changed this back to Warwickshire in the Profile, so problem is now solved.

Looks wishy washy, font choice is poor, Tahoma would be better.  12 point size.

     Thanks Brue.

Have you seen stories yet?  I can't see any real improvement in searching in the story section

Yes I had a quick look through just about everything this morning. I'm hoping posting a photo on stories will give an improved result, they were frequently distorted previously.

Is the general search engine better, I haven't tried it yet?

It's important to remain positive when an update is introduced. So may I commend the photographer and the editor for publishing that stunning photograph on the opening page of the CC website. The one which was taken near the Kinlochewe CC site.  -- Great Photograph.

    Cheers...........................K

    Hi everyone,

As we have another thread open, and lots of the same queries are being repeated across them both, I'm going to close this one and redirect to the Ask the Expert thread >>here<< where I'll be trying my best to answer your questions on the new website and Club Together.

In the meantime, why not have a look at our FAQs?

    On the positives:

There is a new clean design

There is a new photo upload function

There is a new ask the expert feature

There is an interim web help team

       The wider website has evolved

    Areas for development:

A monthly communication of the forum roadmap - to ease speculation, such as:

        - there is currently no plan to introduce a PM function

        - limitations on photo size will remain until 2018

        - navigation tips, such as short keys, if any

Pleasing all of the people all of the time...... of course never.

Setting / managing expectations is typically a good idea.

    I hope this feed-back helps.
