May Day worth it's weight in gold!
Coming home from work today along the A46, noticed something not quite right with the handbrake on my commercial van. So pulled over and found smoke coming from rear brake hubs, as handbrake had fused on! Called the wife, she suggested I call the garage after ringing MayDay. The call to the garage did help and whiled away the time until Kev from Green Flag arrived in under an hour.
The problem was confirmed as a handbrake that was stuck so off we headed with my Peugeot Partner facing backwards along the A46, on an amazing bit of kit!
My breakdown happened around 5.30 on a Tuesday evening, and thanks to MayDay and my garage I was towed, fixed and finally home by 8pm. Many thanks to Green Flag and the garage for such great service, it won't be forgotten.
