Give and Take

Last week we spent a few nights at Ludlow Touing Park an affliated Caravan Club Site.The site was only a third full. It seemed ridiculous that on a 130 pitch site, it was September that we were told we were unable to have a pitch until 1pm. we arrived at 11am our pitch was ready,Why did did we have to wait for a specific pitch to be vacated? On leaving we were a few minutes late and we apologised and were our pitch was needed although the site contained fewer people than when we arrived. We understand that in the height of the season arrivals and departures have to be managedbut surely during the off season there should be a bit of give and take!!
