Having been a Caravan Club Member for nearly 30 years I am about to stay on my 70 th Club Site ( I know... what an anorak! ). I have enjoyed reading in the Club Magazine the series on CLs where the owners reveal some of the history of their Site. The thought occurred to me that it would make interesting reading if our Archives Department at Head Office could be persuaded to contribute a series of Histories of Club Sites. Maybe one a month starting with the oldest?
