we have just returned from a weeks stay at presthope site near much wenlock. this interesting site is set on an old railway and well laid out providing interesting pitches. ours was on the old railway platform giving us spectacular views over the countryside. the wardens were great, so helpful making our stay even better. the little town of much wenlock itself is quaint and traditional. and a visit to blists hill is a must as is ironbridge. we were lucky enough to see on a river cruise on the embankment a kingfisher which for a bird watcher was the icing on the cake for an amazing holiday. just can't wait to go back again next year. pity they close at the end of october as we would have gone back sooner. we still have lots more to explore around this lovely place
