ive not been a caravaner for long ( 2nd season ) on our last trip upto troutbeck head last week we developed car trouble, having left home on the friday evening at 20:00 we stopped over at the stafford service area nothbound M6 to rest for the night. we headed off next morning and about an hour and a half later we noticed a whinning coming from the front of the car, the noise got louder and more severe the faster i went.with not too far to go i decided it sounded like a wheel bearing ( not the wife singing this time although very similar ) and i should be ok to carry on all be it carefully. we arrived on site and got pitched up fairly problem free for a change, The staff recommended Braithewaites garage in Newbiggin to me. So i decided to call out green flag and they took the car to the garage for me, the garage were very helpful and fully understood that it was going to impact on my holiday, they couldnt do enough gave me a courtesy car even though i had completely forgotten to carry my drivers license, they kept in informed every step of the way and special thanks to Jill in the office there for being such a star.even when we couldnt find my locking wheel nut bolt thye rose to the task and got all the old ones off and fitted new one that i had quickly purchased from halfords and at no extra cost.so if your ever at troutbeck head and have car problems remember braithewaites garage in Newbiggin they are amazing.
