#XploreMore 2014 - Task 90 - Make a sand angel
We’ve all heard of snow-angels but a sand-angel is not normally as well known. Neither Ella nor I had ever done one before but when we came upon this challenge on the list of the 25 extra, we were eager to have a go.
When we went down to Klein Strand caravan site’s beach, where we were staying, to do beach Vollyball, we decided to try it there. After the game of Vollyball, we went down a few of the fun water slides with some friends we met earlier and then did the sand-angels.
Of course, one thing we didn’t consider was the fact that after plunging continuously into the lake, the sand would stick to us. So after doing the sand-angel, our backs were plastered with the soft sand (a few more slides down did clear it off though! 
)
We really did enjoy this short but fun activity – a great alternative to the classic snow-angel, especially when there’s no snow!
