Poorly Swift!

So on retirement last year we treated ourselves to a lovely new Swift Challenger Sport caravan as we wanted to spend lots of time away enjoying retirement. Hubby wanted a Bailey but I won him over. Horror upon horror, second service just done but damp detected in front offside front window so under warranty it has to go back to the factory in Hull. However, Swift want if for upto 6 weeks, not really acceptable to lose your van for 6 weeks in the touring season, but it has to be sorted so now we are losing it from middle of September. I am one very unhappy Swift owner - moral of the story, should have gone with hubby's choice! Has anyone else had damp in a new van & can it affect resale value?
