size of caravans and motorhomes

hi, 

i have been with the caravan club for years now,i am getting very disappointed with the club over the lenght of the the out fits you are aloud on the sites 8.5 metres and i have been to some of these sites over the years and my motorhome is longer than this, so why are they changing the lenght, dont they want these any more  (motorhomes) i do believe that some caravan are now getting longer with the twin axels, does that apply to them has well or is that you dont require our custom any more
