Coots afloat!

When I stayed at Ashwell Ashridge Farm CC site last summer, a stop-off on my way to Alderstead Heath, I decided to visit Audley End near Saffron Walden, an English Heritage stately home.  I enjoyed looking round the house and grounds, and was amazed to see a floating coot's nest in the middle of the lake at the front of the house- despite thousands of visitors passing nearby every day, the coots did not seem unduly upset.
