Not very helpful at Southport Caravan Club Site
We have friends that have come over from Ireland, who we reccomended that they join the Caravan Club, So they booked to stay at the Southport Caravan club site, we went along to show them where the site was situated, on arrival I went into the office to say we had just traveled over to show our friends around and could we park our motorhome on the visitors carpark, for a short while, while they setup and we showed them things, and I said that we where, caravan club members, that did not live far away, to which I got no reply whatsoever from the reception staff, I asked again if we could park on the visitor carpark, again I got no reply. so Being disabled, we parked on the double yellow lines outside of the park. and went in to show our friends, what the procedure was on a caravan club site. I can only say that I found the people/wardens on duty in the office on the 26th May to be very unhelpful and I was quite disgusted. needless to say we certainly would never stay at the southport site. Our fiends where also not very happy, and I am sorry that I reccomended them to Join the caravan club , as they also for some reason where very annoyed, also with the reception staff, I can only think, they must have been having a very off day, which is inexcusable, as they where not busy at the time I was trying to ask to park on the visitor parking, which they ask you to do before parking.

A very unhappy member, with regard to the Southport Caravan club site, I think the wardens of this site need a lesson in manners and attitude in dealing with members
