Ullswater - The most dramtic of the Lakes

Just back from 8 nights in the lakes staying at Patterdale Hall Estate CL.  Pitches are a bit tight (would highly recommend motor movers to get it on the right piece of gravel!!) – But it is well worth the effort.  What idyllic surroundings – The Beck in the background – loads of wildlife (One morning we had – 1 woodpecker, 2 robins, 3 squirrels, loads of rabbits and 20 sheep!!!!!!) – Highly recommended if you are a lover of dramatic scenery.....The CL – hookup only (No toilets or showers) but within walking distance of Ullswater, Glenridding (Some excellent pubs), and for the hikers amongst you ...on the route to Hellvellyn.
