Goodbye for now
I have just deposited the proceeds from the sale of my caravan. Purchased last year it was our intention to enjoy short breaks and longer holidays but a combination of ill health and family commitments means we just were not using it enough. We have had 3 caravans over the years and 2 motorhomes and enjoyed many happy holidays. I am not giving up my membership yet I am still hoping that we will be able to return to caravan or motorhome holidays eventually. It does seem there are many like ourselves perhaps like boats shared ownership would be the answer. Anyway I may dabble and buy the odd caravan to renovate and resell. I enjoyed restoring a Avondale caravan so we shall see but I shall certainly miss the wonderful club sites in the meantime.
