My wife and myself arranged to meet with an old army pal and his wife for a weekend in Brighton. Whilst booking in at the site I asked the warden if the Blackwood couple (our friends) had arrived yet. I was told (sic): 'Can't tell you that because of the data protection act'. I replied words to the effect 'you must be joking'. But he wasn't, he was adamant! I then said: 'Do you give us a code number for the ablutions then?' The ironry was totally lost on him.

After driving around the site twice (it's a big site) and adding to global warming we found our friends.
