Mid kent break
We have just arrived back from Tanner Farm Park. A good site well situated for exploring the Kent countryside. The site is clean , quiet with huge pitches and spotless toilet block. Be warned hoever that you are not allowed to choose a pitch as on most caravan club sites. On arrival we found the lady in reception to be downright rude ad unhelpful. She did not look up from her computer when we arrived, not even to say good afternoon. We explained that the pitch we had been allocated was not suitable, but she gave us little alternative saying that all other pitches were booked. This turned out to be untrue. It seems that weekenders had booked a specific pitch and this pitch was kept vacant all week. Not a good start to a short break. A pity as we love the area and would like to visit again. Needless to say Tanner Farm Park has been crossed off our list.
