We have just rejoined the caravan club after a break of a couple of years. In the interim period we have been working as wardens on private sites in Cornwall, Hadrian's Wall and now Fife. I have to admit that I had become somewhat disillusioned about the attitude of many of the wardens on caravan club sites that we had stayed on over the years. They had ranged from officious, to just plain disinterested. having now done the job myself it has made me even more aware of this sort of behaviour which I cannot abide.

So it was with some trepidation and to be honest ready for the worst that we arrived at the site in Stonehaven at 7.30pm.The lady warden was extremely friendly and polite. I could not have wished for more, the site was lovely and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.a nice relaxed atmosphere with great vibes made for a lovely 2 night stay on the 2nd and 3rd September. We will be back, and well done to the club for getting it right !
