Took our first visit to this site over Easter for 5 days.  What a beautiful site.  Well maintained with friendly wardens.  I wish we had been there a couple of weeks later when all the bluebells would have been out as it would have been a glorious sight.  On the doorstep to walk into Chirk Castle (NT) and also walks down to the canal where you can see canal boats a plenty enjoying the slow pace of life.  There is also a fantastic adquaduct & viaduct to see, both still used, within walking distance.  Five days just wasn't enough to scratch the suface of what this area has to offer so we will definitely have to return.  Don't be put off by reports of noise from the nearby factory, unless you are purposefully listening for it, you won't notice it.
