Ferry Meadows

We stayed at Top Lodge from 19/8/ - 23/8/13 with the grand children thought it would be quieter than Ferry Meadows, however we did take them to Ferry Meadows Park on the Wenesday and as we went past the Caravan Club site we saw the gates shut on both sides and what looked like security guards at the gates with clip boards booking people in. I just wondered if this was normal at this time of year, we have been there loads of times and never seen that before !!!!
