a weekend in the lake district

just returned from MEATHOP FELL and had a crackin 3 days. the wardens are friendly and helpful but the pitch we were on ( no.50 ) is very difficult to level the van so beware. the views from the pitch is looking towards morcambe bay so its worth it. grange over sands is lovely wee village and site is 20 min drive from boness so it does not get much better for touring around the lakes. new toilet block by the looks of it  so all in all had a great weekend.
