NO DOGS

We have recently come home from touring the Uk, we have been to Oxford, Derbyshire, Malvern Hills (three counties) Lake District, several places in Scotland, Northumberland, Yorkshire Dales and Cambridge. All the campsites admit dogs some at a price some for free, but that is where it ends, if they have a bar or restaurant the dog is not permitted entry. Also, everywhere you go in towns, NO DOGS. What is wrong with dogs? We do caravaning holidays so we can take our dog, but everywhere is the same, shops, pubs, castles, gardens. Don't these people want our money, we sat most nights in the campsite or maybe a pub garden. We were very lucky we had great weather the whole time we were away, but what if it was raining,(which is more likely than not) what would we have done then? Couldn't they say, Well behaved dogs are allowed and then ask us to leave if he's not. The same as you would if you had a badly behaved person. We are very responsible dog owners, and would not allow our dog to behave badly and if he did we would take him outside so as not to spoil other peoples enjoyment, the same as we did when our children were small, they had to behave inside a restaurant too. Most Dog owners are responsible too. So can't something be done about this. They wouldn't say children are not allowed, and yet I have been in places where the children are not corrected by parants, and are far more irritating than any dog. I love kids and I love dogs, well behaved ones. So come on, give us dog owners a break.

Does anyone out there agree with me?
