A trip to Bunree Scotland

Hi 

 pretty new to caravaning and the Mrs and I are planning a trip to Bunree in the Scottish highlands, setting off from the Wolverhampton area and ain't in no particular rush to get there. So if anyone has done a trip like this could you give a bit of advise on where a good stop over in the borders would be.
