Thieves in France

Hi all, first stop in France after leaving Calais at a caravan club recommended site in a vilage called Guignicourt. Great site, friendly owners and great facilities. Got robbed! All our clothes taken. Other camper got watch, jewellery and cash stolen while they slept! Ah well a 'one off' then four nights later Thierry tea leaf strikes again! This time breaking into 2 camper's caravans while they slept taking cash, cards, passport and keys. Although we ok it means we cannot sleep well at night! We're off. Lesson - don't leave your car unlocked and sleep with valuables under your pillow, or locked in your car or better still leave them at home and take some cheap fashion jewellery, watches with you.
