Here we were, two young kids, new caravan, very new experience.  Where would we go for our first 'proper' holiday.

Well, of course, we needed facilties.....swimming pool, bar, restaurant - ideal!  Phone up to book.....not cheap, but still, better than a hotel.  It's going to be great, roll on August!

Arrival - book in, given a pitch.  The pitch isn't much longer than the tow hook of the caravan (a relatively short caravan), but anyway.  Awning up, away we go!

First night, rain like you would not believe.  Children and hubby have waterproof suits but only jacket for me - quick trip to shops, sorted!

Second night, stream running through awning, youngest child thinks this is great for playing in - not so much for Mum who has to try and get clothes clean and dry!

Lots and lots or cars......lots and lots of people.....lots and lots of children (couldn't watch ours).....lots and lots of charges for everything!

Moral of the story, never again.  Facilities come at a price and not just a monetary one.  Try CC sites, CL sites & small commercial sites and you'll not regret it!!

From ....... a Mum of 3 (8,6 & 4) who has never used a site like this again!

CL all the way !!!

Totally agree I'm a mum of 2 ( Aged 4 and 2 ) always use cls! More space for kids to run around and less people for them to bother ha ha!! Happy Also
    a lot cheaper.
