booking a Isle of Wight holiday

Hi Guys & Girls.

We are taking a trip to the Isle of Wight this easter in our Elddis Crown 2000, and this will be our second caravan holiday. (1st was to blackpool)  Now im a bit confused to how to book the holiday as ive heard so many different things about who to book with, i.e the ferry company or the caravan club.

I think i have done it wrong as i have booked a pitch at the southlands club site and i have looked up prices on the ferry website but they are coming in at about £250 return trip?  

Please could someone help with some advice on what to do next as it looks very expensive for the ferry? Is it cheaper to book through the club?
