I picked up my brand new car on 21/01/2013 and decided to use a local towbar company recomended by my caravan supplier. HEDLEY towbars from Durham. What a mistake, The guy came out to do what they call a light check complete with cigarette in mouth, I did ask him not to smoke in my car, I then asked him to have a good look at the rear bumper to confirm no damage before they removed it. Confirmed no damage. I waited in a fridge disguised as a waiting room for 2.5 hours while bar was fitted. Paid my money and left. On the following Sunday I washed my car and discovered damage to bumper. When I returned car another scruffy employee was about to enter my car in his filthy attire and ingrained hands. Again I asked him to wash and get a seat cover. When on ramps Mr Hedley senior arrived to inform me I had hit a kerb and his guys dont cause damage. Tough cookie. My car has parking sensors and reverse camera but he would not accept any responsibility even though his fitter had checked my car. Make your own mind up on this before you use them. I willl attach pics at a later date.
