Winter Wharfedale

Just got back from an extended stay at the wonderful Wharfedale site and what an experience it was.

Every morning the external waste pipes and  the internal water pipes were frozen solid, one day the gas froze.

A little heat from the hair dryer for internal works and unconnecting the waste pipes for external had things sorted.

Black ice all over the place was treacherous as well but we love the surrounding countryside we cant wait to go back again.

It certainly helps with midweek discounts as well, top place to go smilie

    Dear wife died 2 years ago. Trips to the charity shop with lots of stuff including hairdryer (I'm bald). First winter outing, off to the shop to buy a hair dryer!

    I needed one anyway for the dog Embarassed

    The hairdryer wasnt for me either Codger, OH and the dog, I (ahem) have no need for such a device.
