This adults only site is at Pidley in the Cambridgeshire Fens.

Facilities include:

Hard standing pitches,

Electric hook-up, waste water drain and fresh water tap to each pitch,

Wet-room showers with toilet and wash basin,

Dog walk,

FishingLake,

Restaurant on-site (but not part of site so booking essential),

We stayed for a week in November. The weather was mixed but when it rained the site roads and pitches drained quickly. The owners and wardens were extremely helpful and friendly and dogs are welcomed.

The facilities are brilliant with fully serviced, hard standing pitches and wet-room style showers. The whole site has a quiet easy going feeling and you informed that, if reception is closed, you can pitch, settle in and let reception know where you are the next time they are open.

If you take a nice stroll on footpaths to the village, you will find a warm welcome at The Mad Cat pub. The food is good and varied and there is “real ale” on tap along with the usual wines and spirits.

Also nearby are Wisbech,Peterborough, Chatteris and St. Ives which has a guided bus link toCambridge(35 minutes). If you have a bus pass, you can park and ride intoCambridgefor free.

All in all, a lovely site and recommended for a quiet break or longer holiday.
