shower taps

just been sat here reading posts and kept hearing pump going ,cannot be barrel empty only switched ober last night but yes pump was going so went to check it was so filled other up and checked waste that was full pulled out pipes and shower waste leaking water went to check adn shower tap was on why they put that sort of tap near the door i do not know any ideas how to stop knocking this tap on we do it regular (apart from cutting off its supply?)

    We never use our shower but have knocked it several times wetting chairs etc stored in there. So know I got a blanking cap from B & Q. took off the shower hose & fitted cap. The hose is just rolled up & tie wrapped to the head riser pipe. I always have a
    molegrip in the van so if needed I can reverse the situation in a minute ot two.
