NEW ZEALANDS FRIENDS trying to get insurance in uk for motorhome

Having just returned from 6plus weekstravelling around New Zealand in our friends motorhome,they are coming over here to do something similar in july ,but finding major problems insuraning them on our motorhome,they drive on the same side of the road as us, very similar laws to us, but we have hit a brick wall trying to get some company to cover ,is there anyone to help or had the same problem ,as it seems so silly that we can take our motorhome across europe which is a right hand  drive driving on the opposite side without anyproblems,with the olympics games starting people coming from down under wanting to use friends and families cars and motorhomes why dont we embrace it rather than close the door in their faces
