Just back from the Wirral Country Parl site.  As they say location location location.  what a beautiful spot.  Never heard so many Curlews wonderful sound.  To top it all we won the fish and chip van raffle free pie and chips. Result.

Friendly wardens on a busy site.  The Wirral was a revelation not what I expected at all though it can be a bit windy.  Luckily it was only wet on a night but did have a big puddle in front of the van so when hitching to leave feet got  bit wet.  We will defineatly visit again

    Been to the wirral a couple of times this year and returning next week end, I think the pound has been there all year
