Hi everyone.

I've just returned from a 9 day stay at the Bladon Chains Caravan Club site which is situated within the grounds of Blenheim Palace.

I was expecting a lot from this site and what I got far exceeded my expectations. It was fantastic.

First of all, there are pitches to suit everyone, hard standings, grass pitches, even smaller hard standing pitches for the smaller motor homes.

Something for all in fact.

The site is well situated within the estate and is within a 10 minute walk of the front gates of the Palace.

For people staying on this site, if you wishstay visit Blenheim Palace ( A bit steep at £20 pp) you are advised by the wardens to take your Club receipt for your stay and present this on entry where you will get 33% off the entry price. Be advised that if you wish to see everything, put aside at least 2 days for your visit.

Ok, back to the site review.

The pitches and the grounds of the Club site is first rate, a really beautiful location for your holiday.

The toilet facilities are first class and beautifullycleanness, it has a really nice covered dish wash area and the laundary facilities are good.

The whole site is immaculately clean at all times and it was just a joy to be there.

Rest assured, it is the top club site for me and I intend to revisit this year and next.

CONS:

1. Be aware, that there is some very minor road noise, which had no impact on my stay, but is worthy of note.

2. If, like me, and you love your Internet, this site does not have this facility.

At first I bumped my gums, but after a day or so, it was a bit of a revelation not to have the use of my iPad, and I played card games and read books when I wasn't visiting anywhere. It was great and I had a fabulous holiday.
