i had a tow bar fitted to my renault senic 1.9 diesel had been on the car for some months had bought a swift challenger 520se we decided to have a weeks holiday in somerset the day arrived heading down there around half way into the journey coming up to a junction on the a303 heard a clunk didnt think anything of it until i moved off the tow bar had colapsed away from the car we were very lucky because i remember thinking around 2 minutes before it happen i was travelling at 60 mph doesnt bear thinking about if the tow bar came off then anyway phoned AA what happen they towed my van to the site then had the tow bar welded back on in bridgewater and the was excellent
