Caravan servicing

Not been caravaing long but going to South Wales in May so thought it best to have  the van serviced, ( its being done while I  write this) Its being serviced at a major caravan centre so I was a little worried when they rang me to ask where the water pump was located the "technition" could`t find it. I know caravans have different layouts but surely finding a water pump should`t present a great problem.Has anyone else experienced this apparent lack of knowledge from a main dealer?
