I have recently attended my first ever Caravan Club rally - the Hallowween meet at Catterick, run by the North Yorkshire centre.

From the minute I arrived on site, I was warmly greeted by rally officers Geraldine and Andy Futcher and Edward and Emma Berrisford and their families and I had the pleasure of meeting our Chairman Stan and his lovely wife, June.

I was made to feel very welcome at the social events over the weekend, with other ralliers taking the time to introduce themselves, inviting me to sit with them and including me in their conversations. Although I attended much of the rally on my own (my husband was working and was only able to pop to see me for an hour each day), I never once felt "on my own"!

I thoroughly enjoyed my break away and I would like to extend my thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the weekend such a pleasurable time.

I will definately be a more active rallier next year and I really appreciate all the hard work that goes into making these rallies such a pleasant expereince.
