We got up this morning to a lovely bright and sunny morning here on the Caravan Club site in Brighton. All the pitches around us are occupied, some by motorhomes and others by caravans. It's hard to believe that people put their caravans to bed for the winter, when you see so many people here enjoying the great outdoors.

We are on pitch number 130 and have found one of the advantages of this pitch is that our awning is facing the sun. Sitting out in the awning with a cup of tea, I found it hard to believe it's winter. With the sun streaming through the window, it was amazing how comfortable and warm it has been all day.

The other great thing is the wildlife. Many varieties of birds, foxes and rabbits can be seen daily here. We're so close to all the attractions of a major tourist resort yet you feel so close to nature here on the club site surrounded by hills and greenery that you would think you're in a rural setting.
