I met Patience back in May this year.

My O.H. who always has flowers in the van, sent me off to find a bunch of flowers as we were off to France for three weeks.

The garden centre however failed to meet her ( the O.H.s ) requirements as they had no cut flowers on offer.

My eyes were drawn to Patience who was stood alongside the cash register and I was captivated by her sheer beauty.

I returned home with Patience and explained she would be accompanying us on

our travels much to O.H.s annoyance.

We set off for the channel tunnel the following day with Patience travelling in

the caravan waste bin. Pitching for the first night at our chosen site Patience took her place at the head of the table where she remained for the majority of our stay

in France and slowly won over the O.H., who eventually allowed Patience

to travel home with us.

Back home Patience continued to blossom and was a welcome addition to our two week family holiday to Swanage. Each day she stood by the front window and gained admiring glances from fellow campers.

Back home again and Patience graced our house with her beauty until late August when we left Blighty for our second trip to France. Naturally Patience accompanied us. This holiday was quite traumatic for us all as we had a very nasty experience

on the motorway as we headedfor the Med. Patience however managed to raise

our spirits by her continued cheery countenance. The beautiful sunshine of the south of France appeared to suit Patience and she blossomed throughout our

four week holiday.

Back home now and Patience is beginning to show her age despite an occasional rosy flush. I don't have the heart to discard my fading beauty.  After all she's the best £3.75 I've ever spent!.

Nice one BB, glad she wasn't too temperamental! We once had a red geranium that accompanied us to Orkney and back, last week at Hillhead we had our Dahlias....Smile
