Hi My name is Pauline and I live in Australia, In September my best friend and I are coming to the UK to tour around for 6 and 1/2 weeks. After we (my husband and I) had some lovely people from the UK stay at our B&B they advised me to join the Caravan Club, since that was all I talked about, touring the UK (so excited)  My best friend was born in Malmesbury and wants to be there for her birthday, we have been planing this for 2 years. It's 122 days away before we come. We arrive in London on the 9th of september and will be staying with Jacqui's family, in this time we will be using the train to go into London (we have 6 days at the begining) so I can see and do all the tourist things (jacqui did this last time she visited England). We are then hiring a Motor Home for 30 Days touring up along the east side up into Scotland around to Lock Ness and down the west side into Wales, down to Cornwell back up around the top of London, across to Kent and finishing back in Horseham where  Jacqui's family are. We have mapped it out with the use of a street directory that was given to us by another friend, what we have mapped will take far to long to tell you about. What I do want to know is the things that people have found when doing long trips, what is essential to take with us, what should we look out for, anything that is not publisied that would be of great interest, we both love history, both have English back grounds. Anything you think we should know would be great.

Thanks Hope to see you on the road real soon

Pauline
