Sorry that it has taken me a short while to write this story but I thought Better late than never!

So a couple of weeks ago we attended the St Paddy's rally at the Cotton Arms in Wrenbury. It is a lovely venue behind the pub and backing onto the canal with lovely walks around the village and along the towpath.

As usual we all got together in the hall for a few drinks (an Irish coffee or two) and a spot of silliness with the rally officers and their entourage. There was certainly a lot of fun and laughter and I am sure we kept Guinness shares up that night too.

We played a few silly games, tossing the potato and Irish bingo.. There are some thing you just shouldn’t ask!

Saturday was free and easy and a group of us donned the walking boots and set off along the canal for some fresh air while others took advantage of the sunshine that came out to greet us.

Saturday evening was back in the hall with a genuine Diddly band (Irish folk band I think), we were also treated to some sandwiches and crisps to soak up the wee drinks.

All in all another fabulous weekend with the Cheshire Centre, so onto my usual plug! We have our First time rallier rally coming up soon, have a look at the following LINK to see what its all about and please do get in touch for more info: mailto:advertising@cheshirecentre.co.uk then of course it’s our 45th Year and 600th celebration rally the following weekend.. This will be another excellent event, not to be missed, have a look at our website and please come and enjoy may day - the cheshire way!
