Review of Caravan Repair
We had our caravan damaged by another storage user and they claimed on their insurance to have it repaired.
We chose Whitfords Caravan Centre as it was close to us. What a bad idea! They came to inspect the caravan and sent me an estimate and the insurance company authorised this. It was then 3 months before the parts were received and another month before they could fit the caravan in.
They contacted me to say it was ready and I went to inspect it. They hadnt even washed it first and they were putting new awning rails on and redoing the paintwork. They had left the sealant smeared all over the caravan and left the aerial in the caravan and hadn't even fitted it.
they also said I owed them £4.29 for a hinge pin that wasn't on the estimate and demanded this money before I could pick it up.
I contacted the insurance company who have been brilliant and they added the amount into the invoice.
All I can say is I would never use this company or trust them with my caravan ever again.
